American Company Fined for Violating Iran's Sanctions

TEHRAN An American company, in suburb of the city of Atlanta, was asked by a court to pay $250,000 for violating sanctions imposed on Iran, Associated Press reported.
Mahdi Azarian and his nephew Farhad Azarian, the owner and manager of Federal Parts International Co., were sentenced to 6 months in prison for lying.
The two Iranians had already tried export automobile spare parts, worth $600,000, to Iran with the collaboration of some other Iranian and German companies.
